Join the VIU Academic Advising team for an overview of the process of registering for courses and choosing electives. The Academic Advising team at VIU will assist students in how to select the most suitable electives based on their academic goals, interests, and program requirements. Through this one-hour session, advisors guide students in exploring a diverse range of elective options, helping them understand how each choice aligns with their career aspirations and overall academic plan.
Select Registration Type
Current Students
Current VIU students that have their VIU single sign-on credentials or a VIU student number should select this registration type. You will need to login to register.
Students with single sign-on credentials can click the "Login to Register" button and will be directed to the student single sign-on login page.
Students without single sign on can go here to login using their VIU student number: New or Returning Student Login
Future Students
Students that do not have a VIU student number should use this registration type. You will need to provide your full name, phone number and email address to complete registration.
