The VIU Career Studio invites employers, recruiters, alumni, VIU staff/faculty and the general public to our annual
Spring Career Fair presented by DMD Dental Group!
Kick off the academic year by showcasing your organization at Vancouver Island University's annual Spring Career Fair. A dynamic, high-energy event designed to connect you with bright, motivated students and alumni from all VIU programs.
Held near the end of the spring semester, when students are looking for summer employment, this fair is your opportunity to:
- Promote current and upcoming job or volunteer openings
- Build brand awareness with future grads
- Start meaningful conversations that can lead to co-op placements, internships, or long-term hires
Whether you're looking to fill part-time roles or identify future talent for your workforce pipeline, the VIU Spring Career Fair is the perfect platform to meet hundreds of students in one place.

External Exhibitor - Basic
Exhibitor ticket types include the following options
Basic Booths
- Basic Booth - For profit organizations - $400 including GST
- Basic Booth - Non-profit - for non-profit or registered charities only - $200 including GST
- Basic Booth - Government (GST Exempt) - for government departments or agencies that are GST Exempt - $190.48 no GST
Optional add-ons include:
- Additional catered lunches - $15/each including GST
- Tablecloth - No Charge
- Booth Power - $50 including GST
EVENT REGISTRATION CANCELLATION
To cancel registration for this event, email CEL@viu.ca. Note that cancellations may be made at any time; however, cancellations made on or after March 18, 2026 will not be eligible for a refund.
Event cancellations will be processed within 1 to 2 business days following receipt of the cancellation request email.
REFUNDS
Payment of registration fees constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Registrants that cancel prior to the cancellation refund deadline date listed above can expect the refund to show in their account from 3 to 5 days following refund processing depending on your credit card providers policies and processes.
If you are eligible for a refund following the cancellation request, you will be notified by email once the refund process has been completed and an updated registration receipt showing the refund processing date and transaction ID will be attached to the email.
VIU reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify career fair events due to circumstances including but not limited to inclement weather, insufficient registration, facility unavailability, public health concerns, or other justifiable reasons. In the event of cancellation by VIU, registration fees will be refunded in full; no refunds will be provided for postponement or modification of event details (including date, time, location, or format). Employers will be notified of any changes as soon as reasonably possible. VIU is not liable for any indirect costs, travel expenses, or other losses incurred by registrants due to event cancellation or modification.
All event logistics, including booth assignments and scheduling, are determined at VIU's discretion. Registrants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and in accordance with applicable employment and human rights legislation during all event activities. Attendance is restricted to organizations representing their own recruiting needs; promotion of products or services for other purposes is not permitted. By registering, you consent to photography and videography at the event for promotional purposes.
External Exhibitor - Sponsorship
Sponsorship Packages include the following options
- Presenting Partner - $2,000 plus GST (Limited to 1 Organization)
- Event naming: "VIU Career Fair presented by [Partner]"
- Logo listing on website registration and signage

This event is open to the general public. Please use this registration type if you are not an employer exhibitor, VIU staff/faculty or VIU alumni.
Attendance at the event is free but please be sure to complete all registration steps before closing the page.

VIU Internal Exhibitor
VIU Departments that want to be an exhibitor at this event should choose this ticket type. While there is no charge for VIU exhibitors to attend, please be sure that you complete all steps in the registration process to ensure your booth is secured.
VIU Staff/Faculty
VIU Staff/Faculty who want to just attend the event should choose this registration type. There is no charge for VIU Staff/Faculty to attend.
